What is anxiety?
Anxiety isn't just nervousness — it's that relentless voice that tells you something is about to go wrong, even when everything looks fine on the outside. It can show up as racing thoughts, a tight chest, an inability to relax, or a constant need to prepare for the worst. Anxiety can interfere with your sleep, your relationships, your work, and your ability to be fully present in your own life. While some anxiety is a normal part of being human, when it starts running the show, it's time to get support. You don't have to white-knuckle your way through every day.
Symptoms may include:
Excessive worry that's hard to control
Feeling restless, on edge, or irritable
Physical symptoms like a racing heart, tight chest, or shortness of breath
Difficulty falling or staying asleep
Avoiding situations that trigger fear or discomfort
Muscle tension or headaches
Trouble concentrating because your mind won't slow down
Overthinking and second-guessing yourself
