Are you constantly showing up for everyone else while feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself? Maybe you’ve spent years being the strong one, navigating family expectations, relationship challenges, career demands, grief, or major life transitions while quietly wondering, “When do I get to take care of me?”
I specialize in helping BIPOC women navigate the emotional weight of being everything to everyone while reconnecting with themselves in the process. I work with women experiencing burnout, overwhelm, trauma, grief, postpartum transitions, relationship challenges, faith-related struggles, and major life changes.
As a therapist, I understand how vulnerable it can feel to share your story with someone new. My own healing journey through therapy played an important role in leading me to this work, and I bring that understanding into the therapy room with compassion, authenticity, and respect for your unique experiences.
I believe therapy should be a space where you don't have to minimize what you're feeling, explain away your experiences, or carry everything on your own. You are the expert on your life, and my role is to walk alongside you as you make sense of what you've experienced, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and create meaningful change.
My therapeutic approach
My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and collaborative. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported while also being challenged to grow.
I integrate CBT, DBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Client-Centered Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches based on your unique needs and goals.
In our work together, we’ll explore the connection between your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors while developing practical tools to manage stress, regulate your nervous system, strengthen boundaries, and navigate life’s challenges.
With over 11 years of clinical experience, I bring a grounded, relational approach rooted in compassion, honest feedback, accountability, and genuine support. My goal is to help you reconnect with your voice, your needs, and your sense of self so you can move beyond simply surviving and begin truly thriving.
