Hi I’m Karen. Have you and your partner been holding everything together for so long that the distance between you has quietly grown? Are you an individual navigating a major life transition, feeling disconnected from the people you love, or struggling to understand old patterns that keep showing up in your relationships? You don't have to keep navigating it alone.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with nearly two decades of experience supporting adults and couples through some of life's most challenging moments. My work centers on helping individuals build self-awareness and resilience, and helping couples find their way back to each other when communication breaks down, trust is tested, or connection starts to fade.

Whether you're working through a personal transition on your own or sitting across from your partner trying to be understood, I show up with patience, cultural awareness, and genuine care. My goal is to create a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where you feel truly heard — and where real, lasting change becomes possible.

My therapeutic approach

I believe every person holds the capacity for growth and healing — sometimes they just need the right support to access it. I tailor my approach to the individual needs of each client, drawing from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Motivational Interviewing. Together, we will identify what is getting in the way, build on your existing strengths, and work collaboratively toward meaningful, lasting change. Your story matters, and I am here to help you write the next chapter.
