Meet Your Facilitator

With over 11 years of experience in community-based mental health, crisis response, faith-based organizations, in-home treatment, and group practice settings, I bring a grounded and relational approach to therapy. My work is shaped by both clinical training and my background in storytelling, ministry, and nonprofit service.

My own healing journey through therapy is what led me to this profession. I understand how vulnerable it can feel to sit across from someone new — especially as a mother who is used to holding everything together for everyone else. I approach each client with deep respect for her courage and her story.

I specialize in working with mothers navigating trauma, anxiety, burnout, and the emotional weight of caregiving. My therapeutic style is trauma-informed and culturally responsive, integrating nervous system regulation with cognitive awareness. Together, we will gently explore how past experiences may be impacting your present while building practical tools to help you feel more regulated, confident, and supported in your motherhood journey.

In our work together, you can expect compassion, honest feedback, accountability, and tools you can apply in everyday life — not just insight, but real change.

This group is ideal for mothers who:

  • Feel overwhelmed, overstimulated, or emotionally drained.

  • Struggle with balancing motherhood, work, and personal needs.

  • Experience anxiety, irritability, or burnout.

  • Want healthier ways to cope with stress.

  • Desire support from other moms in a structured, therapeutic setting.

In this group, you will:

  • Learn practical stress management tools you can use in daily life.

  • Identify emotional triggers and patterns contributing to burnout.

  • Develop healthier coping strategies for anxiety and overwhelm.

  • Improve emotional regulation and self-awareness.

  • Strengthen boundaries and reduce mom guilt.

  • Build community with other mothers who truly understand.

This group is not right for you if:

  • You are experiencing suicidal ideation.

  • You are currently experiencing severe mental health issues that require more intensive treatment such as therapy.

  • You are currently experiencing domestic violence or physical abuse by parents/family members.

  • You are not committed to attending the meetings regularly or actively participating in the discussions.
